In 2015, Merritt finished construction of an 88,000 square-foot seafood distribution facility for NAFCO & Congressional Seafood. Having out grown their bays in the adjacent Maryland Food Center Authority Seafood Market, they were in need of their own facility. The state-of-the-art warehouse features 25,000 square-feet of seafood processing area, a 35,000 square-foot freezer, custom stainless drains, refrigerated loading docks and 3 large ice houses. In addition, NAFCO has 10,000 square feet of unique office space.
