The goal of this project was to create a unique and inviting space for House 6 Brewing Company, including a large production area with room for experimentation and future growth and a front tasting/tap room with a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere that pays homage to the local Ashburn volunteer firefighting community.

Merritt created a design plan with open seating, large communal tables and a children’s area. The space offers simplistic design elements and customized features to incorporate various firehouse-themed details. Merritt worked closely with the client to create an efficient layout that allows room for 130 visitors in the tap room and a production area with five fermenters, other necessary brewing equipment and space for cold and dry storage, plus room to grow.
